Steve Hodge - Fans memories of a title-winning Leeds United midfielder
Steve Hodge only made a dozen starts in that campaign of champions and is mainly remembered by the Elland Road faithful for some telling cameos off the bench.
His chief contributions arrived as a sub by way of some decisive late goals, with breaking the famous-four revered midfield quartet of Strachan-Batty-McAllister-Speed at times a herculean task.

Hide AdBut the international midfielder did steal his piece of the limelight en route to a haul of seven goals, including one on his debut against Sheffield Wednesday as well as braces against Sheffield United and Southampton and the only strike in a 1-0 win over Liverpool.
Your YEP has asked the Elland Road faithful for memories of the midfielder who encapsulated the qualities in that legendary side brought together by Sgt Wilko: a player of genuine talent who had passed the top-flight road test over several seasons.
