Leeds crash: Girl, 11, rushed to hospital after being hit by car in Armley

A 5.12pm yesterday (Monday), police were called to a road traffic collision in Town Street, Armley, involving a car and an 11-year-old female pedestrian.

The girl was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not considered life threatening.

A scene was put in place awaiting updates from hospital on her condition. The road re-opened at 8.20pm.

The driver stopped at the scene and was spoken to by officers.
