Leeds to fall silent in support of London terror attack victims

Leeds will fall silent today to pay respects to the victims of the London terror attack.

City council staff will join MPs, peers and staff working in Parliament and Whitehall in observing a minute’s silence at 9.33am to pay respects to the victims of the terror attack.

Leeds City Council chief executive, Tom Riordan, said: “In support of all Whitehall Government Buildings, we will observe 1 minute’s silence today, Thursday 23 March, at 0933 to coincide with the start of the Parliamentary day.

Thoughts are with those affected.”
