A woman has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after being hit by a car driver in Leeds.

It happened at 9.08am on Tuesday, January 12 at the junction of the A6120 Ring Road and Whitkirk Lane, Austhorpe.

A woman pedestrian had been involved in a crash with a black Ford Kuga.

She was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance.
