Leeds United are expected to receive another boost ahead of the World Cup break en route to a new and improved Premier League finishing position.

Leeds finally recorded their first win since August when sealing a brilliant 2-1 triumph at last Saturday night's hosts Liverpool and the Whites are now odds-on across the board to beat Saturday afternoon’s visitors Bournemouth in the 3pm kick-off at Elland Road.

United are no bigger than 4-5 but as short as 4-6 whereas Gary O'Neil's visitors can be backed just short of 4-1 at 39-10. The draw is on offer at 3-1 and Leeds have the first six players in the first goalscorer market which is headed by Whites no 9 Patrick Bamford at 5-1.

Rodrigo is then 11-2, followed by Joe Gelhardt (6-1), Willy Gnonto (13-2), Luis Sinisterra (7-1) and Sam Greenwood (15-2). Dominic Solanke is rated the chief Cherries threat at 8s, followed by Kieffer Moore who is the same price as Whites duo Brenden Aaronson and Jack Harrison at 9s.

Bournemouth's Jamal Lowe and thriving Leeds youngster Crysencio Summerville are then both 11s followed by no goalscorer at 13s before Cherries trio Siriki Dembele (14s), Junior Stanislas (14s) and Ryan Christie (15s). A 1-1 draw is marginally favourite in the correct score market at 37-5 but followed by a 1-0 win to Leeds at 41-5 and 2-1 triumph for the hosts at 43-5. Leeds are 9-1 to win 2-0 and a 1-0 success for the Cherries is on offer at 31-2.

Following United's success at Anfield, opinion has changed on where the bookmakers expect the Whites to finish. Having been fractions away from being third favourites to go down, five teams are now rated more likely for the drop than Marsch's Whites.

Nottingham Forest and Saturday's visitors Bournemouth are odds on to go down at 4-9 and 4-7 respectively, followed by Wolves at 8-5 and Southampton at 23-10. Leeds are a best priced 7-2, the same price as Leicester who are shorter for the drop than United with plenty of firms.

Based on those odds, United are now predicted to finish 15th. Everton (9-2), Aston Villa (11-2), Brentford (13-2) and Fulham (9s) are the only other clubs at single figure odds for relegation. Crystal Palace (14s), West Ham United (33s) and Brighton (66s) are next before a whopping gap to Newcastle United at 750s.
