The Whites are expected to continue spending this summer, and it will be fascinating to see which stars the club can land, after already being linked with a host of top quality players ahead of the transfer window opening on June 9th.
For a bit of Bank Holiday Monday fun, we've fired up the latest edition of Football Manager, and simulated the game to the first day of next season, to see how Leeds United line up with their predicted new signings.
Here's how Football Manager predicts Leeds United will line-up in their predicted opening day of the season clash away to Tottenham Hotspur:
1. GK: Illan Meslier - £16m value
The talented French stopper remains between the sticks, after a highly encouraging debut season in the Premier League. His attribute ratings for reflexes, aerial reach and anticipation are all above 15/20. Photo: MICHAEL REGAN
2. RB: Luke Ayling - £20m value
Now rated at £20m, Ayling keeps his spot at right-back. He's landed a tasty new contract to boot, and will remain a key player for the Whites going forward. Photo: Shaun Botterill
3. CB: Maximilian Wober - £10m value
Here we go! A new signing is through the door. Snapped up from RB Salzburg, the Austria international looks to be a bargain signing. He doesn't look like he'll be a regular starter, mind, as both Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente are out with minor knocks. Photo: Adam Pretty
4. CB: Robin Koch - £34m value
The German defender wasn't among Leeds' most impressive players last season, but FM has backed him to come on leaps and bounds over the summer months, and force his way into the starting XI. Photo: Catherine Ivill
5. LB: Arthur Masuaku - £6.5m value
The 27-year-old struggled with injury problems last season, but the Whites couldn't resist signing him on a bargain deal. He's not the most exciting of signings, but should do a decent job if he can stay fit. Photo: Julian Finney
6. CM: Kalvin Phillips - £50m value
Leeds knocked back bids from a host of clubs to hang on to their star midfielder, who the game predicted would get plenty of game time for England at the Euros, before their heart-breaking 3-1 semi-final exit at the hands of Belgium. Photo: Pool
