North Leeds is home to some of the city's best pubs and from Shadwell to Chapel Allerton, there's a place for everyone to go this weekend. Some are taking bookings and others are allowing walk-ins so here's a guide to where you can go:
1. The Lord Darcy
This pub is located on the busy Harrogate Road in the heart of Alwoodley. It has a large outdoor seating area and along with beers, wine and other spirits, there's a huge selection of flavoured gins to choose from. Bookings can be made online.
2.
Enjoy some drinks on the terrace at The Red Lion pub which you'll find in the heart of Shadwell village. Future bookings must be made via email, Facebook or WhatsApp with details on the website.
3. The Thomas Osborne
No bookings are required for this beer garden which you'll find on Street Lane in Roundhay. Service begins at 12pm so you can spend all day there if you fancy.
4. The Mustard Pot
You can book for either the garden, heated patio, heated marquee and smoking marquee at this Chapel Allerton pub. Which will you choose?
5. The Dexter
Located at the top of Wigton Lane, The Dexter serves a selection of food and drinks for those visiting the outdoor seating area. The team welcome both families and dogs. Bookings can be made online.
6. Roundhay Fox
In a 'dramatic u-turn', the Roundhay Fox pub in Roundhay will now be open from Saturday, April 17 - having originally planned to stay closed until May. It will be open from 12 to 7pm for food, with drink available until 8pm. The team says tables are limited so book in advance to avoid disappointment.
